Milana Vayntrub, the subtly charismatic star of BBDO's recent AT&T ad campaign, has just released a 14-minute video called "Can't Do Nothing," documenting her unexpected experience assisting those fleeing Syria's civil war and coming ashore in Greece.
"I went to Greece just to go on vacation," she tells Adweek.
Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out after her sophomore year, got a GED, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from University of California, San Diego. She appeared in the television series This Is Us as Sloane Sandburg, author and co-star of the play Kevin Pearson is starring in in New York.
