No ip client not updating
I personally use No-IP for historic reason since I have my free account for at least 10 years.
In that post I’ll teach you how to use their official client as a service under Raspbian.
The update client periodically checks your network’s IP address; if it sees that your IP address has changed, it sends (updates) the new IP address to your hostname in your Dyn account.
If you’re like many Dyn DNS customers, you have a dynamic IP address which changes periodically (monthly, weekly or even daily).
On my RPi i have a Webserver with a mysql database running.
I have 2 routers because the routers are on different floors. I had to open the Port 80 also on my second router which is directly connected to the Internet. To help you first answer this questions please: 1) Could you describe your router (trademark).
We highly recommend using software clients since they tend to be more reliable than many of the update clients used in routers.
