35 age chat - How to play steam games without updating
I don't get too much spare time to play games these days, but when I do I actually want to be able to play my games.I have occasionally been playing Skyrim in STEAM offline mode, I made the mistake of opening up STEAM whilst I was connected to the internet and it started to update Skyrim. When I start the STEAM client in offline mode it now says I can not play my game until it is finished downloading the latest patch.
Is DRM a necessary evil in this digital age, or is the model... So what can be done about this, and what is Microsoft playing at?
First off, it isn’t really appropriate to blame the immense technology giant on this occasion.
Even if your PC is several years old or far from the cutting edge, older PC games can often be made to run perfectly, giving a new lease of life to older machines.
Even older PC games can give many current games console titles a run for their money and can offer you many hours of fun.
There are just two silly exceptions: antivirus software and stuff that’s deeply embedded into the system needs updating – but the developers are on it already – and then there are old games on CD-Rom that have DRM.
